Grand Final - Midland Game Fair,
Rules of entry to competition
Age restrictions
· Entrants must be 15 or under on the day that they enter the competition.
· The Competition will run at designated shows
· Two classes can be entered into spring or Co2
· All entrants must use the supplied equipment, which is: BSA Super sport or Umarex Air Magnum in .22” calibre, using Milbro pellets, fitted with telescopic sights, which have been zeroed at 35 yards
· All entrants will receive basic safety training prior to entry for the competition.
· Entrants will use the air rifle provided by the ATEO, and be monitored by the coach, who will score their card through the competition course.
· All entrants will receive supervision.
· No coaching will take place on the competition course.
· All entrants will fill in a score card with name, address and date of birth on the section provided, and must have a parent /guardian’s signature added, to be valid
Course for both classes
· The course will consist of 10 targets, with nominated tie-break targets being used to decide the highest placing, in the event of tied scores.
· Targets will consist of a range of Knock over type targets / individual disc targets / Simmons knock-down targets, in a range of sizes. Minimum target distance to be 8 yards and the maximum 50 yards
Prizes
The top 3 scores from each class on the week end will each receive a trophy
The overall winner of each class will receive an invite to attend the Grand Final at the Midland Game Fair on Sunday 19th September for the class that they were top in.
No correspondence will be entered into with entrants or their families. Result will be available at www.ateo.org.uk
The coaches reserve the right to refuse entry to the competition, to any entrant whose size, attitude or capability to safely use the equipment provided, on the junior “Coaching” range is questionable. Final entries will be at 4.30pm each day.
